I love noting better than trying out different cuisines, both at home or eating out. Japanese food is something Ive never really tried, so when I was given the opportunity to test out Yutaka Noddles I jumped at the chance.
Yutaka noodles are both high in protein and high in fibre with the added bonus of them being organic and gluten free, so they make for a perfect family meal , and if your trying to diet or eat more healthy. A 50g serving is just under 170kcal which is perfect if your watching your daily intake, and if you compare these to other noodles then they are significantly less.
As these noodles are high in protein you do feel fuller for longer, one box of noodles easily feeds 4 adults. However since there is only 2 of us in the house as well as a hungry toddler I opted for a portion size of 3. Trust me it will fill you up quite easy, Im a big lad and not easily filled but coming to end of the bowl even I was struggling. Always a bonus!
The noodles just needed to be cooked in boiling water on a medium heat for 6-8 minutes then drained and tossed in oil just to stop them from sticking while you cook and prepare the rest of the meal.
The packet comes with a recipe suggestion on the side. The idea is to boil the chicken in a broth in a wok or a saucepan with the spices and vegetables, then remove the meat and strain the broth into the bowls with the noodles, The recipe is very easy to follow and takes around 15-20 minutes to make. You can read the recipe here

My Thoughts
The noodle recipe was great, it was my first experience of trying this type of food, I have tried the more common egg noodles before in stir frys and i must admit that i am not the biggest fan! This recipe was nice and easy to follow and the noodles were very filling, The broth was very tasty and complemented the noodles wonderfully.
This meal was eaten by me and my family, the best recommendation you can get is from a 3 year old who loves his food – and i mean REAL food and not fish finger chips and beans!!
He demolished a full bowl full and then started on mine! Here he is enjoying them below:
Well Zach is enjoying his @YutakaNews noodles. Review coming soon pic.twitter.com/iHIsYNBtUn
