I have been going through some of my favourite images from last year and realised how busy I actual was with all the different locations I had been on. I always like to print my best images off as seeing them in print is completely different to actually seeing it on screen, No matter how  good your computer maybe, nothing beats a good print.

So I have been looking through my prints and I have came across probably one of favourites from my trip to Scotland.

This location at the Black Rock Cottage located in Glencoe was on my list of places I needed to visit, I have seen so many amazing images of this location through different seasons and I wanted one for myself. So when I was on holiday there last year I made it my mission to go. And o boy I wasn’t disappointed. A light dusting of snow lay on the ground with the Cottage sitting in the middle of the marsh land with Glencoe mountain behind in the distance. Just look at the view, its amazing.

  1. It’s a great pic of a location in Scotland I’ve never visited (and I visit often with a Scottish wife). I’m told it’s a very bleak place and that’s certainly the sense I get from your image. Have entered the giveaway btw. #mysundayphoto
