Peppa Pig is a hugely popular British cartoon about a spirited young pig and her family aimed at toddlers and young children. If your child is a fan of the Pig family, chances are that they will enjoy playing with the Peppa Pig toys, too.

There is a wide range of Peppa Pig toys out there, from stuffed toys to play-sets and figures.

I was kindly sent the Peppa Pig School Bus and Zoo Playset to review.

It didn’t take long to unpack, not like other toys nowadays with hundreds of straps and ties to hold everything in place. A couple of ties were snipped open and and its ready to be played with right out the box, no need to set anything up. Bonus for us parents – an ideal scenario, especially if your buying these for Christmas/Birthdays and you have a load of boxes or toys to set up.

My youngest son (2) is obsessed with Peppa Pig, its his choice of programme to watch when we are on our travels in the car. When I showed him the new toys his face lit up, he recognised the characters straight away. Sadly these sets do not come with a Peppa figure – but he particularly enjoyed the large lion figure from the zoo set.

These type of small world figures are something my children are really into at the moment, (see this post) they provide endless fun and creativity when playing, even though they may regularly fight over who gets to drive the bus. All part of the learning Im sure!?!

The school bus roof even comes off and if you have other Peppa Pig figures, they can sit on the spare seats within. One afternoon when tidying away I even found a few Lego figures sat in the seats – obviously Zach had been enjoying some play with the figures.

This Peppa pig play-sets have been a nice addition to our collection of small figures, we have a whole box of them now which my boys just love to play with.

See my Ben 10 review here.

Disclosure: I received these gifts for my honest opinion, however as always all thoughts are my own.
